What is Level Up?
Level Up is a program containing 10 levels of achievement, each with a variety of songs and challenges chosen by our top music instructors to help you grow and excel with your instrument. These challenges are able to be customized by your music instructor to meet your unique needs and goals - a perfect blend of structure and flexibility. Enjoy following a roadmap with clearly laid-out directions to bring you from beginning to mastery, all in one beautifully designed and structured booklet (which every Expressions student receives for FREE)! Level Up was designed for every age, level, and instrument, including adults, brand-new beginners, and students who have already had lessons.
How was the program developed?
Jessica Schatz, founder and CEO of Expressions Music Academy, knew she wanted a program that would not only help students excel at a college music level with their beloved instrument but also would educate and help guide new music instructors as they begin their teaching journey. With the help of some of Expression’s top music instructors and students, challenges for Piano, Voice, Drums, Guitar, Strings, and more were created throughout the 2022-2026 years. These challenges are wonderful tools for instructors and students of all experiences, while still having the option of customizing song choices, practice schedules, and more.

Ask your instructor! They’re ready to jump into this fantastic program with you! If they haven’t already mentioned it to you previously, ask them about it in your next lesson! Every Expressions student receives a Level Up booklet for FREE! The booklet contains spaces to add and track all the challenges you’ll need.
